Wordy or not…here I come!
I am a woman of so many words! I’m crazy about my family and friends, love to write and tell stories, and I think the small stuff really matters! I really love to help people realize their God-given potential. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.S in Human Development and Family Studies, and I’ve been a Social Worker, volunteer, trainer, parent educator, speaker, craft show gal, ladies ministry organizer, business owner, and leader in several organizations in Lubbock… but I’m happiest in the role of “Kooki” to my grands in this season of life.
I married my high school sweetheart, Randy, in 1981, and we’ve enjoyed life raising two daughters and a son, added two son-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, four granddaughters, four grandsons, and two wiener dogs to our tribe. Together, we’ve owned three businesses that kept us busy and interested. My goal is to encourage others to discover His purpose for them in this time, in this place, in their sphere of influence.
I LOVE Bible study, ladies ministry, Cheetos, and office supplies, and I’m really happy to embrace the journey God has placed me on!
My motto in life and all things is “Consider the cost, count it all Joy!”
